Music has a way of...transcending.
Speaking to any and everyone thru its
universal language.
Being on stage feels like...Flying.... Sometimes. Or maybe driving a really fast car. Then again it can also feel like gently floating. Being on stage feels like...Flying.... Sometimes. I Never considered myself an R&B singer. I was a gospel singer turned soul singer. My jazz and folk influences gave me the softer side of Soul which in turn sort of put me in R&B by way of genre or classification. I do love R&B tho. When I honestly of it, As a percussive dancer and musician,
I am rhythm, and as a deep-rooted soul singer, I am blues.
R&B.
